CURRICULUM HIGHLIGHTS​​

• Learn safety, cueing, modifications, sequencing and how to lead a Den class. 

• Teaching Tools:
  Cueing techniques, verbal + physical adjustments, sequencing, and musicality

• Teaching Lab:
  Observation, practice teaching, and real-time feedback

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• 24 hours of in-person instruction
  (Required, or submit approved online recordings)

• 15 hours of at-home coursework

• 15+ hours of class observation + practice teaching

• Daily journaling, quizzes, and cueing drills

• Final practicum & teaching evaluation

• Certificate of Completion

• Eligibility to teach at The Den upon certification

• Professional development resources (insurance, liability, next steps)​

 ACCREDITATION + CREDENTIALING

• The Den is recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as an Approved Continuing Education Provider.

• 0.2 NASM CEU's

• Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School 50 Hours CEU's

• Instructor liability insurance eligibility provided post-graduation

• Training qualifies for CEUs or insurance under most fitness or yoga umbrella policies (details provided in manual)

• $2,000 – Full price

• $529 x 4 monthly payments

• 50% refund 30 days before training starts. Less than 30 cancellation refund can be put towards future trainings.​

 FAQ

Q: Can I get insured as a teacher after this training?
Yes! Graduates can apply for group fitness or yoga instructor insurance with their certificate of completion. We provide guidance and links in the course materials.

Q: Is this training recognized by national certifying bodies?
Our training meets CEU standards and is approved from NASM/AFAA and 50 CUE's of Yoga Alliance. 

​

Q: Is this only for people who want to teach at The Den?
Not at all! While we offer teaching opportunities to standout graduates, this program is open to anyone — whether you're teaching elsewhere or just deepening your personal practice.

Q. Do you guys work with military scholarships?

The SpouseWorks Scholarship (formerly MyCAA) provides eligible military spouses with up to $4,000 in financial assistance for career training, including licenses, certifications, associate degrees, and continuing education. The Den's trainings are available though their website.  It is available to qualifying spouses of active-duty, National Guard, and reserve service members across all ranks and pay grades. **This must be done through the SpouseWorks website.
